I bought a Swifty Scooter!

After setting up the UK's first scooter 'cycling' holiday for Freewheel Holidays with Swifty Scooters, I decided to buy my own as I was so impressed with them! These are high quality, adult scooters that are crafted in Manchester and seriously impressive pieces of kit with pneumatic tyres, front/rear brakes and 16" wheels.

I found a Swifty Air on Gumtree for the bargain price of £150 locally in Stockport. The normal selling price is approx. £399 and different models are available at swiftyscooters.com.

I started using the Swifty Scooter straight away to scoot back from work in Walkden to Manchester City Centre. A distance of about 8 miles via MediaCityUK. I was very impressed with the speed, comfort and unlike my other scooters, this one looks cool!
