Groundhopping
Everyone has their passions and as well as cycling, I really enjoy architecture, geography, local history and visiting as many places as possible! In 2011, I decided to channel this passion into visiting football stadiums across the UK by bike, running, scooting and any other possible means...even kayak!
Even though, I have not seen a game at each stadium which rules me out of official 'groundhopper' fame, I have probably been to more stadiums than even the most hardcore football fan.
I completed the ultra ambitious challenge in 2015 after reaching Gillingham in Kent to complete the '92' league football grounds in England and in Wales. I still continue to groundhop grounds, but on a more casual basis and I covered several thousand kilometres doing the tour...
